High school football games across the state were moved to Thursday due to the threat of weather on Friday. Including a big one in class 6A-1 as Broken Arrow hosted Jenks.
The threat of weather is getting the district season started early. We’re starting off with the clash of titans, Jenks and Broken Arrow, a matchup of the top two teams in the state in 6A.
The Broken Arrow football program is going above and beyond to protect its players from dangerous head injuries. The team is now using padded helmets to protect players during practice.
